Done as a school project, Ria: The Forgotten Smile is a comic-book inspired by local Singaporean literature - The Gatekeeper by Nuraliah Norasid.
Narrative Synopsis: Young medusa Ria is living a peaceful life until Ormal Din - the leader of Manticura was assassinated by a medusa. Seen as an act of terrorism, this caused a huge uproar among citizens of Manticura. With society living in fear of monsters, Ria has to live among humans in secret as she faces threats that could immediately place her and her family's lives into imminent danger.
